My one and ONLY attempt at using charcoal.
I kind of like the texture in the wood.
The older I get, the more I love implied art. I didn’t have to draw the whole face for your eye to connect the dots.
I got this one to look smooth.
Twisted tree that I drew for someone’s tattoo.

Below is what happens when someone wants me to draw something that I am just not into – I can’t finish. I put it down, pick it up, and put it down. If I am not inspired, it is just not going to happen. Plus, life is too short to be doing something that we don’t enjoy.
